My husband and I went to Costa Rica for our honeymoon and our favorite place was Rancho de Moncho. It was exceptionally clean, refreshingly peaceful, exotic (being able to hear monkeys in the early morning) in addition to having spectacular views of the volcanos. We especially loved the country side and proximity to Rio Celeste and hot springs. Perhaps what stood out to us the most though, were the people. Everyone we met was so genuine and friendly. In Bijagua, we felt more like family than tourists. We can’t wait to go back!
Our time at Rancho de Moncho was ultra relaxing. We traveled with our 3 teenage children and loved the gloriously rustic cabin. The location was the best for all our forest and coastal visits. The charm of the rural setting made for the most peaceful and restful vacation. Our family loved the people and would love to return to Bijagua.
